An easy-to-follow guide to erase your Uber ride history
PDF download Download Article

Deleting your Uber account (which includes your Uber Eats account) is the only way to delete your history. This wikiHow will show you how to delete your Uber account, an action that erases your Uber ride history, on your computer, phone, or tablet. Your account will remain deactivated for 30 days after deletion. If you don't sign back in within 30 days, your account and all associated information, including your ride history, will be permanently deleted.

How to Delete Uber Activity

Though Uber doesn't allow you to delete records of individual rides or clear your entire ride history without fully deleting your account, there are a few workarounds if you want to hide your activity on Uber. Since the Uber app only shows your most recent ride history, one option is to book new rides until the specific ride you want to hide is no longer visible in your history. You can also sign out of your account so other people can't access your ride history without a password.
