Did you know that you can change how the clock appears on your Always On Display? How do I change the clock on the Always On Display?

For newer One UI versions, change the Lock screen clock to change the clock on AOD. Tap and hold your Lock screen to edit it. If "Touch and hold to edit" is not enabled, do so in Settings > Lock screen and AOD. Tap the clock to change the font, color, and style. You can use an analog or digital clock or a calendar.

  1. You can also search Edit lock screen in your Settings menu to open the same editing page. If you need to enable "Touch to edit," go to Settings > Lock screen and AOD > Touch and hold to edit.
    • If you have One UI 5.1 or earlier, you can change the AOD clock from the AOD menu.
    • Find out which version of One UI you're using by going to Settings > About phone > Software information and looking next to "One UI version."

  1. Find and tap the gear icon on your Apps menu. Alternatively, you can slide down the notification bar from the top of your screen and tap the gear icon on the top right.
    • If you have One UI 6 or higher, the clock on your AOD screen will be the same as the clock on your Lock screen. In that case, change the clock on your Lock Screen if you want to change the clock on the Always On Display.

    How do I get more clock styles on my Samsung? You can get more clock styles by using a Samsung app called Good Lock. Good Lock has a ton of functions, including editing your clock face styles. You can edit both the Always On Display and lock screen clocks directly in Good Lock.
