Is your free Amazon Prime trial about to end? As long as you cancel your trial membership before the end of the 30 day trial period (or 6 months for Prime Student), you’ll won’t get billed. After you cancel your free trial, your benefits won't end immediately—you'll still get free 2-day shipping, access to Prime video, and more until the end of the trial period. Cancelling an Amazon Prime free trial is easy, and you can do it in the Amazon mobile app on your phone or tablet, or in a web browser on your computer.

Things You Should Know

Mobile: Go to your profile > Your Account > Manage Prime Membership > Manage Membership > Update, cancel, and more > End membership to cancel.
Computer: Go to https://www.amazon.com/gp/primecentral and click Update, cancel, and more > End membership > to find the cancellation option.

It's in the "Account settings" section near the middle. The details of your Amazon Prime membership will appear.
You'll see this at the top of the screen.
You'll see this in the "Manage" section under "Membership."

Another page will appear, giving you a few more options for continuing your membership.

Scroll down and tap Cancel Membership. This confirms that you'd like to cancel your trial membership after the free period ends. You'll still be able to use your Prime benefits until the official end of the trial period.
- You'll see the final date of your Amazon Prime free trial membership at the top of the page. Now that you've canceled your membership, your card will not be charged for Prime services.^{[3]

Go to https://www.amazon.com/gp/primecentral in a web browser. If you're already signed in to Amazon, you'll see a summary of your Amazon Prime free trial benefits. If you're not signed in, you'll be prompted to sign in now.
This link is just below "Membership" in the upper-right corner of the page. A menu will expand.

You'll see this option in the set of buttons at the bottom of the page. Another page will open, displaying the details of your Prime membership trial.
This tells Amazon not to bill your card at the end of the trial period. Once your trial is canceled, you can continue using your Prime benefits, including Prime Music, until the scheduled trial end date.

If I use free 2 day shipping during my free 30 day trial, can I still cancel before my 30 day free trial is up?

Yes. Log on to your account at Amazon. Click on Accounts & Lists and click on cancel free Prime. They will then give you a 2-3 day window to notify you of your free trial being cancelled.

Question

I just clicked on Amazon Prime free trial. Now I want to cancel it but there is no option to do so. What do I do?

You must follow these steps to cancel it. Go to your Amazon, click Help (it is in the same row as browsing history), go to Manage Prime. Then where Amazon is talking about your billing info there will be a button that says Do Not Continue, click that. Then just continue the rest of the steps. It will ask you if you are sure, just say continue to cancel.
